Our flock includes two pekin drakes, named Rose and Fern, and their five girls. While we are in the gardens, the boys are always just a few steps away, curiously overseeing us and nibbling on our boots. The girls, meanwhile, are more likely to be occupied with their foraging. Our ducks are free-range from dawn to dusk, with access to five acres of wild, organic foragables. At night, our ducks sleep safely in their coop, with access to their large wire-enclosed run.
